Access guidance
- Due to the age and design of The Blackpool Tower Circus arena wheelchair spaces are limited, so we cannot guarantee availability. Please pre-book your wheelchair space Access for guests with a disability is available on the ground floor. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for hire from our Buggy Park located on the ground floor, these are on a first-come, first-served basis. A £10 refundable deposit is also required. Wheelchairs are subject to availability; therefore, we would suggest that guests who need a wheelchair to travel around The Blackpool Tower bring their own for ease. Due to the age and design of the building, we do not permit electric scooters above the ground floor or into the attractions, you may leave them in our buggy park located on the ground floor and hire a wheelchair for a fully refundable deposit of £10.
- Please be aware that there is a limited amount of seating in The Circus that does not require the use of steps to gain access. Due to the age of the Circus Arena, VIP and 2nd Row seats are only accessible by ascending/descending approximately 14 steps. Seats are not allocated in the Circus arena, we advise arriving up to 45 minutes before the show to secure the best seats. Please be aware, that there is a limited amount of seating the Tower Circus that does not require the use of steps to gain access. If you have specific requirements, please contact us using the information below.
- Toilets with disabled access are available throughout the building including a Changing Places toilet. Please be aware that all our disabled toilets require access by a radar key. Please ask a member of staff for assistance.
- Assistance/guide dogs are welcome in The Blackpool Tower but must never be left unattended.
- One registered disabled carer is able to visit our attractions free of charge when the person they care for pays the full individual on-the-door rate.
- Please note, the Tower Circus is a highly sensory experience, featuring a live band, recorded sound, various lighting effects, including strobe lighting, spotlights, moving lights and general show lighting.
