Access guidance
- We have handrails alongside the ramp into the aquarium, to make queuing easier for those who find it difficult. Queues are typically not too long, with plenty of space for wheelchair access.
- We have ramps where needed as well as a functioning lift to access the upper/lower levels of the aquarium.
- Each part of our aquarium is separated into manageable sections with ample room in all areas for pauses and rests to be taken.
- We have toilets (Male, Female & Disabled) available for use in the lobby as you enter. These are used by beach-goers also, meaning you do not have to have queued and paid admission before using them. Elsewhere in the Aquarium, you are just a short walk from accessing them.
- We do not typically accept assistance dogs, unless they are registered with Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK) and have all the appropriate paper work + they are up to date with their inoculations. The dogs are not allowed to defecate anywhere within the Aquarium so they must be able to go to the toilet on comand.
