Our Recreation Leisure Cards offer great deals on all of our racket sports at Derby Arena. For a discounted price for adults and juniors, you can take your pick at playing Badminton, Table Tennis or Pickle ball. All equipment hire is included, so there is no need to worry about bringing your own. Recreation Leisure Cards also mean you can make of use of our state of the art gym, our exercise classes or even our track at a concessionary rate. - Derby Arena is fully accessible with the lifts and ramps located throughout the building. Even more the gym at the Arena has IFI-accredited equipment. The seating is ergonomically designed so that it is comfortable for our spectators to enjoy the races and the different events taking place at the Arena. There are specific seating spaces available to ensure that they are fully accessible with wheelchairs.
- Parking is available free of charge for a duration of 3 hours for customers using the Arena. Charge of £3 apply afterwards. Please note: the 3 hours free parking does not apply to times when events take place at the Arena. Disabled parking is available outside the venue. - There are several toilets available throughout the building on all the different floors, making them fully accessible for everyone. There are also unisex toilets for disabled people available throughout the Arena.
- Assistance dogs are welcome at Derby Arena. Please let us know when you book or at least 24 hours in advance and we will be happy to accommodate you.
- Some of our events at the Arena have BSL sign-interpreted performances, audio described performances and relaxed performances. Visit the Derby LIVE website for details.
- Our printed materials are available in large print, on audio CD and in Braille. Please come and see us at the reception or contact us on derbyarena@derby.gov.uk to request a copy and we will be able to accommodate you. The Arena has the following resources: Reception - induction loop Cycle hub - induction loop Studios - induction loops Meeting rooms - induction loops Fixed seating - seating blocks with fixed induction loops There are also portable induction loops available that can be used around the Arena.
- It is essential that all members of the public that are unable to exit the building by using the stairs in an event of an emergency, such as power failure or fire alarm, make it known to staff on reception. We will then inform you on where we would meet you in the event of an emergency and briefly explain how we would help you leave the building.
