To help us provide the best possible service, we've partnered with Nimbus Disability and The Access Card; a universal way of communicating your access requirements as a disabled person. Nimbus Disability is a social enterprise and an organisation run by and for disabled people and is recognised as a lead authority on accessible ticketing in the UK. To book access tickets, please call our dedicated access team on 0344 482 5137. Our phonelines are open 10am-7:30pm Monday to Saturday. You will now need to provide us with your Access Card ID or Delfont Mackintosh registration number to book accessible tickets.

Access guidance
- Entrance to the auditorium is through the third side EXIT door on Rupert Street. Ask a member of staff to open this for you. One 12cm step up to the front of the Dress Circle. Venue suitable for scooters. Seat B30 is removed to accommodate the Wheelchair with seats A30-33 also able to accommodate a Wheelchair.
- Adapted toilet in foyer near the bar.
- Guide dogs are allowed in to the auditorium. Alternatively, staff are happy to dog sit.
- Discounts are offered, subject to availability, for disabled theatregoers and one companion, including wheelchair users and Patrons who have specific access requirements. Please Call Venue to discuss.

- 3 licensed bars. No steps to the Foyer bar from the wheelchair space (along a side corridor). Moveable seats. Foyer bar 3 steps up from the foyer. Stalls bar 4 steps down from the back of the stalls, with fixed seats. Delfont Mackintosh Theatres knows that communication is KEY. We want all our patrons to have a good experience while in our theatres, so we now have a visual tool for parents and carers to use with children and adults on the autistic spectrum and/or with learning difficulties. We have been researching the benefits of using social stories and would like to offer a social story for a visit to Gielgud Theatre. We know that people with autism find social situations difficult and understand that we are all unique.
