- With the exception of the upper floors of the windmill everything is at ground level. All doors are wheelchair accessible and do not require a ramp. Please note that 90% of the mill yard is cobbled. Disabled badges must be on display when parking in the mill yard. Pedestrian routes to the windmill are via a steep incline and access via a vehicle is recommended.
- Disabled access via Belvoir Hill off Sneinton Dale, NG2 4LF. Parking in the mill yard is at the foot of the windmill. Directions can be found on our website https://greensmill.wordpress.com/ or by calling reception on 0115 915 6878. Pedestrian routes to the windmill are via a steep incline and access via a vehicle is recommended.
- We have a disabled toilet with wider door, drop down seat and grab rails located on the mill yard. The emergency pull cord is linked to the alert system at reception. Staff and volunteers on site willing to assist if needs be.
- The counter in reception is at ground level as are all the interactive exhibits. Catering facilities can be found in the reception. Hearing loop in operation. Information in braille can be provided and guide dogs are welcome.
