Isle of Wight Festival

Overview
Since 2002, The Isle of Wight Festival stages have hosted The Rolling Stones, The Who, David Bowie, Muse, Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Kasabian, Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon, Jay-Z, The Strokes, Coldplay, The Sex Pistols, Fleetwood Mac, The Police, Blondie and Biffy Clyro. The Isle of Wight itself enjoys a micro climate. Our location, just 2 hours from London door to door, yet across the water, provides a feeling of escapism that others struggle to achieve. Real music is our heritage and one we're constantly building on. Like life, music constantly evolves and changes, and so do we. We're a Festival for real music lovers of all ages and that's why this year you'll find and teen tickets and family-friendly areas as well as a raft of accommodation options for the non-campers and VIP services for those who want to do a Festival, but not in the traditional way.

Access guidance
- There are viewing platforms for Disabled customers next to the Main Stage and in the Big Top. You can apply for a space on the viewing platform, whether you are a Camper or a Non-Camper, but please be aware that the platforms work on a first come first served basis and there may be times when the platform is busy. The Disabled A access wristband entitles you and a carer (if you have one) access to the viewing platform. Please do not apply for the platform (Disabled A access wristband) unless you are a wheelchair user or have difficulty standing as there is limited space.
- We offer a limited number of parking spaces in a car park behind the Main Stage at Gate A6 for Blue Badge holders. You will need to apply for one of these, when booking your Festival ticket. Please be aware that these are allocated on a first come first served basis.
- There is a designated camping field with its own car park, special access loos and showers. Although the site is flat and generally easy to get around, please be aware that the ground conditions may cause problems in certain areas.
- Disabled customers are entitled to apply for one free carer ticket. The carer must be at least 18 years as at 11 June 2020. The role of the carer is to accompany and assist the disabled customer. Should it be apparent that this role is not being carried out Festival staff have the right to eject you from the Festival. Carers should familiarise themselves with the Festival site and facilities so they can assist the disabled customer fully during their time at the Festival. Please do not buy a ticket for your carer as this will NOT be refunded.
