We are a wheelchair and accessibility friendly site, with pathed walkways in both our Zoo and Woodland area. We are also also to conduct Lion Feeding experiences with those in wheelchairs. We currently allow essential companions in for free with the individual they are caring for. We would love to have a succinct way in which carers can show their caring status as easily as possible, in order to gain free access.

Access guidance
- We have various food areas around the site to try and reduce queues and waiting times. We also have benches located around the site should people need to have a pause to rest.
- Our site is wheelchair accessible, including the Zoo, Farm shop, Tropical House, Woodland area, Tea Room and Steakhouse. We have 2 disabled toilets on site, with another being built currently.
- We have a map to show people where the different animals are located around the site. We also have various benches for people to sit on to rest. Our zoo site is laid out in such a way to ensure the animals have larger areas to live than required, but also so that the distance from one enclosure to another is not limiting to those with disabilities.
- We have toilets and disabled toilets located right next to the zoo entrance and car park to help those who have travelled get to a toilet after their journey as quickly as possible. We also have disabled toilets in our Steakhouse.
- We allow dogs in our zoo (both assistant dogs and non) so we have an ample grass area from them to utilise should they need. We have various water bowls around the site.
