"The founders of Mi-Spend recognise the challenges and frustrations that people with learning difficulties or cognitive impairment have when accessing their spending money through traditional means. This can result in them being deprived from spending their money how they want or how they need. Those who need a helping hand often have Guardians or Formal Appointees. While these services are wonderful in protecting people's finances and are in place for their best interest, they can also act as a barrier to spending due to the limited options available to them. Today's world is going cashless and we realise a full range of spending options isn't accessible to all as it should be. Mi-Spend was created because we believe everyone should be able to access their spending money as they wish, thereby creating financial inclusion."
