Access guidance
- We have wheelchairs available to hire free of charge. We also operate separate queues for people who need assistance into the buildings or any difficulty standing for periods of time. We have an onsite first aid team so if anyone need medical assistance we are here to help.
- We provide wheelchair access up to level two within the SSE Hydro and have an allocation of accessible spaces within the Armadillo. Our stewards are also available to help with patrons who have some mobility issues to get into seats if required.
- We have a multi storey car park at the side of the SSE Hydro. This has disabled parking and a covered walk way over to the SSE Hydro. We also offer a drop off and pick up point at the back of the SEC for events in the SSE Hydro from where an accessible buggy will be running, to ensure that all patrons are able to get to the front of the SSE Hydro.
- We have accessible toilets throughout the campus that all patrons can have access to. We are also in partnership with Changing Places and have a fully equipped Changing Place within the SSE Hydro.
- We will provide water bowls on request and we have grassed areas towards the Armadillo.
- We offer free essential companion ticket with all tickets purchased for accessible areas for live events. To book these tickets we would require the patron to call on our free phone accessible booking line - 0800 952 0110.
