"Wolverhampton Grand is a long established theatre in the heart of the Midlands. It receives a wide range of major touring productions including drama, musicals, ballet, dance, opera, variety, concerts, children's shows and one of the biggest pantomimes in the UK, with audiences from across the region and beyond taking advantage of excellent transport links to the city. Admired by performers and audiences alike for its intimate three-tiered Victorian auditorium, the Grand celebrates its 125th Anniversary in December 2019."

Access guidance
- We advise customers who have difficulty with queues arrive early to the theatre, or call ahead and make us aware so we can make alternative arrangements. They can make a member of staff aware once in the foyer area who will do their best to provide an alternative entrance into the auditorium.
- The theatre has flat access from the street, into the foyer area and the Stalls auditorium. There is a lift and accessible toilets on all levels. Within the auditorium, we have 8 wheelchair positions across all 3 levels.
- The theatre is flat access and the distance from the entrance to the stalls auditoriums seating is only short. Customers who require walking aids can use these to their seats and then a member of the team will store it for them until the interval/end of the show.
- Our 5 accessible toilets are spread across all 3 levels and if notified, we can seat customers as near as possible.
- We operate a volunteer scheme for anyone who doesn't want their assistance dog in the auditorium during the performance. If customers do want their dog to remain with them at all times, we have designated seating that has best available space for the dog. A water bowl is available.
- We operate an access register scheme. A free membership that once joined, allows customers who need an essential companion access to a free carer ticket. Customers can show their Access Card to gain this concession.
- Our What's On Brochure is created in Audio Brochure format twice per year and posted out to customers on our mailing list. They are also available from the Box Office. We regularly schedule Audio Described performances and touch tours for our customers who are visually impaired. We achieved the Beacon Centre's Sight Friendly Award.
- We regularly schedule BSL interpreted and Captioned performances for a host of shows across our programme. A selection of our customer facing staff have basic deaf awareness and BSL training.
- Our staff our Dementia Friends and we are working towards becoming a dementia friendly venue. We hold monthly Memory Cafes for customers living with dementia and their loved ones, with live entertainment and refreshments provided.
