Woodlands Family Theme Park is an award winning family attraction located just minutes from the sea side town of Dartmouth. The action-packed park is the perfect base for all Superheroes seeking a trail blazing day of fun. With fantastic events from Titan the Robot, Fizz Pop Science workshops and shows to our brand new interactive real-life dinosaur, there's much to explore here at Woodlands. Tackle a world of adventure on the largest watercoasters in Devon and beat any wet weather with the biggest indoor play centre in the South West. Reach new heights with views across the whole park on Vertigo and soar high into the sky on our family favourite Swing Ship. Explore the incredible Zoo-Farm with 5 huge indoor barns full of wild, exotic and cute animals, plus animal activities. See daily displays at the Falconry Centre. Woodlands Family Theme Park has endeavoured to create a wheelchair accessible environment. All main paths are surfaced with tarmac and seating is available in all play zones. Whilst all areas of the park have been designed with accessibility in mind, some of the natural hills are steep and may be difficult to navigate independently in a manual wheelchair. Disabled parking is available on the front rows of both our lower and upper car parks. The car parks are surfaced with gravel and these spaces ensure the least distance from the car park to the smooth tarmac pathways at the entrance gate. Disabled toilet facilities are situated at various locations throughout the theme park and at all facilities buildings on the campsite. Below the Treasure Trove Gift Shop, inside Empire of the Sea Dragon, and at Loves Grove Cafe there are spacious disabled toilet rooms with appropriate fittings. A reduced rate is offered for guests with disabilities on general park admission tickets in all seasons throughout the year. These tickets are labelled as 'Guest with Disability' tickets on our website. Please visit the ticketing page for more information. Please bring a form of evidence with you when you arrive for your visit as you may be asked to present this at the entrance kiosk. Acceptable forms of evidence: DLA Letter PIP Letter Blue Badge I.D Card Nimbus Access Card Carers – We do not offer free entry for carers instead we offer discounted prices for the guest with disabilities. If you are visiting as an organisation, a disability group booking can be made by telephone with the organisational staff with I.D going in for free and the guests with disability getting a discounted rate. Fully trained assistance dogs are welcome at Woodlands Family Theme Park.

Access guidance
- Our Rangers aim to work through ride queues as quickly as possible. However, if a member of your group is struggling to queue for any particular ride, please speak to the ride operator or a nearby ranger and they will be able to assist. This could involve a member of your group holding their place in the queue whilst the guest waits on nearby benches or play equipment.
- Woodlands Family Theme Park has endeavoured to create a wheelchair friendly environment. All main paths are surfaced with tarmac and seating is available in all play zones. Due to the park's location in a natural valley, gradients should be expected. Whilst all areas of the park have been designed with accessibility in mind, some of the natural hills are steep and may be difficult to navigate independently in a manual wheelchair. All buildings have ramps to access doorways including our reception, gift shop, various toilets, catering outlets and soft play buildings. Apologies but we do not have any wheelchairs available for hire on site.
- The Theme Park is set in 45 acres of woodland and with the parks location and size you will encounter walks between attractions. There are benches throughout the park, inside and outside of all attraction areas for people to rest as well as picnic areas throughout fort guests with wheelchairs to safely park up.
- Guest with disabilities toilet facilities are situated at various locations around the theme park and at all facilities buildings on the campsite. Below the Treasure Trove Gift Shop, inside Empire of the Sea Dragon, and at Loves Grove Cafe there are spacious disabled toilet rooms with appropriate fittings. Baby changing facilities are also accessible at each of these areas.
- Fully trained assistance dogs are welcome at Woodlands Family Theme Park. There are grass areas throughout the park for toileting. And water bowls can be provided from catering outlets if asked for.
- Carers pay the full price either online for up to 30% discount or the full price on the gate. All of our discount for guests with disabilities goes onto the guest with disability ticket.
- Our park guide is available online through a QR code which may help people who are visually impaired with navigating our theme park.
