Overview
Bush Hall is an Edwardian dancehall turned independent music venue in Shepherd's Bush, West London. We're a very small company, working with husband and wife team- the venue owners Charlie and Emma. We've been a gig venue for 16 years and seen an array of wonderful acts from the some of the first shows by stars at the start of their career such as Amy Winehouse and Adele, to recent intimate showcases for huge acts like REM, Paul Weller, Bloc Party and Karen O. Bush Hall is a warm, intimate venue in a grand setting, we'll look forward to having you over!

Access Card notes
We do have an upstairs terrace bar which overlooks the performance hall, for any guests who are OK going up the short flight of stairs and would rather have a seat upstairs away from the crowd we can reserve places at the balcony. We offer complimentary places for any personal assistants, this just needs to be arranged in advance either over phone or email. We can also arrange queue jumps and/or 5 minute early access for those who would require it. Whilst not every show is seated, we can always arrange for seats to be set out and reserved and 5 minute early access if desired to get to the places ahead of the audience.

Access guidance
- Tell us about how you meet the needs of people who might have difficulty with standing and queuing Our security team are always outside the front of the building in the run up to the show- but if you can't see anyone on the door please ring the buzzer- we would be delighted to offer 5 minute early access or queue jumps for those who require it. We have a restaurant next door, Bush Hall Dining Rooms who will welcome anyone who wants a bite to eat or even just a cup of tea if you're at the venue before the doors open. Sometimes it can be busy with pre-gig crowds so booking is advised for dinner reservations. Unfortunately the restaurant next door, Bush Hall Dining Rooms doesn't have accessible bathrooms but guests are very welcome to come into the venue to use our accessible bathroom.
- The only area of our music venue which isn't on level access is the upstairs Terrace Bar, but everything else- the accessible toilet, box office, bar and performance hall is all step-free. Unfortunately the restaurant next door, Bush Hall Dining Rooms doesn't have accessible bathrooms but guests are very welcome to come into the venue to use our accessible bathroom.
- We are a small venue- it is approximately 20m from the stage front to the back of the hall and internal performance hall entrance from the bar area. If you'd like to have a seat closer to the back of the hall we would be very happy indeed to reserve you a place
- If it is a busy crowd and you would like assistance through the audience please talk to anyone of our security, bar or box office team upon your arrival and the duty manager will make sure that you will be checked on throughout the evening. If you'd like to have a seat closer to the back of the hall and closer to the bathrooms we would be very happy indeed to reserve you a place. It is about 35m from the front of the stage to the accessible and general toilets near the box office and main entrance, and about 5m from the back of the hall to the accessible and general toilets.
- We welcome any Assistance Dogs to the venue! The nearest grassed area for Assistance Dogs is about 5/10 minutes walk away, but there are quiet residential streets surrounding the venue where dogs can be walked. We can make arrangements for water bowls for Assistance Dogs- please just mention to any of our bar or box office team upon your arrival
- All essential companions are offered complimentary tickets. Please let us know in advance so we can put theirs or you name on our venue guest list.
- Our bar menu is printed in large font and can be found at both bar areas. Unfortunately we don't have braille formats at the venue at this present moment in time.
- Unfortunately we don't have a hearing loop installed in the venue, nor do we have sign language interpreters.
