Access guidance
- We can reserve spaces and seats for those who have difficulty standing and queuing allowing them to enter without waiting. Where there is queuing, we have chairs along the area for those that may need them. If contacting the venue before, dependant on the event, we can provide early access.
- Each level has level access - Getting to the cafe-bar and hall is via a stair lift or platform lift that can take a maximum weight of 200KG. We can provide free tickets for carers/personal assistants when attending with the disabled person requiring a carer/assistant during their visit. These can be for films, live event cinema and events in The Hall. We regularly show subtitled screenings of films, these will be listed with our listings as specific 'Subtitled Screenings'. Our cinema has wheelchair spaces available to purchase via the website, in person or over the phone. We have hearing loops installed at the Box Office, in meeting rooms, the cinema and the hall. There is a hearing loop available in the Cafe-Bar if required.
- Most meeting rooms and areas are close to the lift entrances. Our Hall is down a long corridor, however, we have chairs/benches along the corridor for those that may require a break whilst making the journey
- We have 3 accessible toilets (1 accessible with a radar key). One accessible toilet is located on Level 3, and two (including the radar key door) are located on Level 2.
- Assistance Dogs are welcome in the building. There are no grassed areas within the immediate vicinity of the building, however, a short walk away there are some areas with grass. We can provide water bowls for assistance dogs
- Carers/Essential Companions can gain free entry with the sale of a ticket for the person booking that requires them. We accept many different forms of proof for people requiring assistance.
- We have all information available on our website which people with difficulty accessing visual information are able to use a screen reader to receive the information. We also offer large print versions of listings and menus for those who require them.
- We have subtitled versions of cinema films available. We don't currently have sign language interpreters, however, we are looking into relaxed and signed performances in the future.
- Where possible, we strive to make adjustments to enable all customers to be able to visit the venue and its events without facing any barriers to their enjoyment, experience and comfort.
