Overview
Our mission is the conservation of birds of prey. The simplicity of this statement belies the complexity of the tasks it requires and the long-term commitment and investment. The threats facing bird of prey populations around the world are numerous. We are a fully accessible attraction with many opportunities to see our birds up really close during a visit making it suitable as a day out for those with visual impairments and for visitors with wheelchairs or limited mobility.

Access guidance
- Free disabled parking at the main entrance (for blue badge holders). Free loan of manual wheelchairs (pre-booking advised). Flat tarmac paths throughout the grounds. Areas reserved for wheelchair users at our display arenas.
- We would like to advise visitors that we have a natural countryside setting and sensible footwear and appropriate clothing for outdoors are recommended. Most walkways are laid paths; however you may find some natural unevenness in the other areas within our grounds. Plenty of benches for rest stops.
- Adapted toilets located in Feathers Restaurant.
- Dogs are not permitted except for assistance dogs. If you would like to visit with an assistance dog, please call in advance so that we can arrange for a member of our team to meet you on your arrival to advise how to make the most of your day while keeping our birds comfortable.
- A carer accompanying a disabled visitor will be admitted free of charge, on request. The normal admission or membership fee applies to the disabled visitor.
- Our daily talks and displays are designed to enhance your discovery and enjoyment. With informative commentaries, we aim to provide you with a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Whether it's art, science, history, or any other topic, we believe that learning should be engaging and accessible to all.
