House at the Golden Ring

Overview

In the house U Zlatého prstenu there is a permanent exhibition of Prague Charles IV. – a medieval city that represents the metropolis and its transformation during the reign of Charles IV. and other Luxembourgers. The next exhibition Praha 1606 brings life in Rudolph's Prague closer to life in a unique way through the animated Sadeler's Prospect. At the same time, the house hosts short-term exhibitions and various cultural events for the public. The House U Zlatého prstenu is a unique Gothic-Renaissance building, in the neighborhood of the Týn Church, with preserved fragments of late Gothic wall paintings. The oldest records of the house date from the 14th century.
