Access guidance
- The Gardens are accessible, however, some areas are not suitable for wheelchair users. There are two manual wheelchairs available to hire. These can be booked in advance of your visit. As well as the building, all exhibits are accessible and the Auditorium has disabled seating spaces.
- Our car park is fully accessible. There are disabled parking bays in the area of the car park nearest to the arrival building.
- There are accessible toilets on site.
- Assistance dogs are welcome.
- Sighted assistants are recommended for your visit. Some of our exhibits are hands-on and some have voice-over interpretation.
- We have induction loops fitted to our reception, exhibition, auditorium, and classroom spaces. Some of our exhibitions have subtitles and others have translations.
