Access guidance
- Disabled patrons have their own designated entrances where queues are at a minimum. The Racecourse has a range of seating throughout.
- Newton Abbot Racecourse is a level site which is wheelchair friendly. There are lifts available to the Carvery Restaurant and to the hospitality suites. There is a raised wheelchair viewing ramp by the Winning Post in the Paddock Enclosure.
- There is a walk from the car parking areas to the main part of the Racecourse. We have a golf buggy running throughout the day to provide assistance to those who may struggle to walk the distance.
- There are a number of toilets situated throughout the racecourse. We have disabled toilet facilities which are accessible with a Radar key. Staff can provide access with a key if the customer does not have their own.
- A water bowl can be provided for assistance dogs upon request. Grassed areas are available.
- Carers receive a free ticket on entry with a disabled patron.
