Access guidance
- The entrance to the Park is via double automatic doors into the gift shop. This area is level, there is a gentle slope via the shop to the café and pay kiosk. Seating is available in the café, and there is no charge to use the shop or café areas.
- We have one wheelchair accessible toilet available outside near the picnic lawn. Our other disabled toilet is in the JungleBarn. The outside toilet has a concrete slope and rail leading up to it. The JungleBarn toilet is on the ground floor, and has an alert alarm.
- Official guide dogs are welcome if the points below are observed for the safety of your dog and our birds. Thank you. Keep the dog on a lead and take it quickly away from any aviary where the birds over-react. Please be aware we will have birds flying free around the Park at different times of day. Your dog must be under close control at all times (check the daily events timetable). We will talk you through our requirements on arrival and tell you for instance if a particular species is at a delicate stage in its breeding cycle, or an event is unsuitable and ask you to avoid the area.
