Park Theatre
Overview
Park Theatre is the brainchild of Artistic Director, Jez Bond, and Creative Director, Melli Marie, who – following a six year London-wide search for a building – discovered a vacant office block next to Finsbury Park station in 2010. Garnering support from the theatre community at large, the press and, importantly, local residents – they set out to raise the necessary funds to convert the tired concrete building into a thriving new theatre and beacon for the community. With a mixture of new writing and modern revivals, we deliver world class theatre, collaborating with the finest existing and emerging talent on stage and behind the scenes. We tell accessible, real-to-life stories, whose content resonates and reflects the world around us and the neighbourhoods close by.

Access Card notes
For regular Park200 shows, access tickets are £17.50 in any seat. Access members are entitled to two tickets at the access rate if they wish to bring a companion. For regular Park90 shows, access tickets are £9. Access members are entitled to two tickets at the access rate if they wish to bring a companion. As seats in Park90 are unreserved, please email boxoffice@parktheatre.co.uk in advance of the performance if you have any specific access requirements. For additional programming, such as short runs, one-off events and fundraising performances, access customers are entitled to 50% off up to two tickets. We provide a range of accessible performances, such as captioning, audio description and relaxed showings.
Access guidance
- The box office monitor access patrons needs and are aware on how we can support those needing support with standing and queuing. We have chairs on site and accessible facilities.
- There are lifts on every level of the building and they are checked throughout. We provide evac chairs if anyone would require access to these and there are refuge points across the venue. Staff will be frequently on site to support with access patron's needs. When booking in Park200 stalls please be aware that Rows A and B are one and two steps down and Row C is one step up from the entrance to the auditorium. Row B in the Circle is not suitable for those with mobility restrictions.
- Staff can support patrons requiring assistance in the venue and will ensure aisle seats are booked for anyone needing access to this.
- We have accessible facilities and baby changing facilities. One is located next to Park200 on the lower ground floor. We frequently check these facilities to ensure it is suitable for access patrons.
- We are a dog-friendly building and assistance dogs are welcome in both Park200 and Park90. Please request an aisle seat when you book. We can look after your service dog during the performance if you let us know in advance.

- We provide easy read guides and large print on request. We do host captioned performances, where spoken dialogue and texts in a show are displayed on a unit, above the stage.
- We do provide headsets (Stethosets to be specific) for the amplification of sounds during a show. This is also key for audio described performances for our blind and partially sighted patrons. We would want to ensure our documents can easily be translated using a text to speech software. We do not currently hold sign language interpreters on site, however, our access coordinator is deaf and is able to communicate in sign language when required. We do host British Sign Language performances at Park.
- We are in the process of updating our website with an improved accessibility tool.
