Access guidance
- Visitors may need to queue at various points in the building to ensure social distance can be maintained. If you are unable to queue, please speak to a member of the team. There are seats and benches throughout the gallery. Folding seats are available – just ask a member of staff or pick up a stool from the racks located on the concourses on levels 2, 3 and 4. Please clean the stool before and after use using the cleaning station provided.
- Two RADAR Key operated lifts link the South Entrance on Level 1 and the Ticket desks in the Turbine Hall. RADAR keys are available from staff at the South Entrance on Level 1 and ticket desks on Level 0. If you have booked a mobility scooter or wheelchair, these can also be collected from the South Entrance. To borrow a mobility scooter please book at least 24 hours in advance of visiting. Reservation is free but you must have driven a mobility scooter before. All one-way routes have step-free access and entry is via the Turbine Hall ramp and exit via Level 1.
- There are twelve parking spaces for disabled visitors, accessed via Park Street. Please book these spaces at least 24 hours in advance.
- Fully accessible toilets are located on every floor on the concourses. A Changing Places toilet is available on Level 0 Natalie Bell Building. You can access the toilet using a RADAR key. RADAR keys are available from the ticket desks on Level 0, and from staff at the South Entrance on Level 1. For more information, please visit our website.
- We welcome guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs in the gallery. Drinking bowls are available at the Turbine Hall entrance – just ask a member of staff.
- Large print guides are available for all exhibitions. You can access printed versions in the gallery. You can access PDF versions on our website. For more information, please visit our website. Magnifiers and coloured overlays are from all exhibition entrances. An enhanced cleaning regime is in place. Please ask a member of the team for more information.
- The ticket desk are fitted with a hearing loop.
