Access guidance
- Wheelchair access to the main hall at the Front and Rear, with 'Ring Doorbell' facility in operation to notify team members of arrival. Manual wheelchairs are available for use throughout the site. These can be collected from the potting shed shop on arrival (subject to availability). Accessible café to wheelchair users throughout the park.
- Accessible toilets are in the courtyard and next to the 508 café between 9 am and 4 pm. A 'Changing Places' toilet and height-adjustable bench; we ask people to bring their own slings and register before use at the Potting Shed shop. The facility is locked and the key is available from the attendant at the Potting Shed shop, in the courtyard.
- Assistance dogs are welcome in the hall, café, shop, park & gardens. Puppies in assistance dog training are welcome in the hall & museum as long as they are house trained. Access to drinking water available to assistance dogs in the courtyard.
- Free admission is available to carers who are visiting with the person they care for.
- Glass doors and full-height windows have contrast markings, or displayed signage. The walls and the doors have high colour contrast. Signage that is icon led is visible throughout the Hall & Park.
