Access guidance
- The park is easily accessible via wide paved paths with plenty of benches along the way.
- There are several small slopes and ramps where a wheelchair user may require assistance, but the majority of the park is flat and level. Wheelchairs cannot be taken onto the deer train, but can be brought to the carriages and users helped onto the deer train.
- Public toilets with level access are available at the main entrance. These toilets have a unisex accessible toilet. There is a second, smaller unisex accessible toilet towards the top of the park.
- Assistance dogs are permitted, provided they are registered as assistance dogs, have full vaccination paperwork, and are clearly working. Emotional support animals are not permitted. For the safety and welfare of our animals, assistance dogs are not allowed into the animal areas.
- A carer accompanying a guest in receipt of DLA, PIP, or Attendance Allowance, will receive a 25% discount off the standard day-entry price. If the DLA, PIP, a valid (in-date) Access Card, or other paperwork, specifically states that Carer Allowance is being provided, or an essential companion is needed, the carer will be admitted free of charge. Registered, employed carers, visiting in a working capacity, will be admitted free of charge when accompanying a guest with additional needs.
