Access guidance
- Some areas of the Park can be difficult to access due to uneven terrain. Our friendly team at the YSP Centre Information Desk can advise on suggested routes for wheelchair and mobility scooter users. Come and say 'hello' on your arrival. The Underground Gallery and The Weston have flat access throughout. YSP Centre and YSP Learning have flat access to the ground floors and lift access to the upper levels.
- Mobility scooters are available to hire. To reserve a scooter please call 01924 832631 or email galleryteam@ysp.org.uk. Please make sure scooters are available by calling in before you book your visit to the park. Team members will show you how to use it and suggest tips on where go.
- Accessible toilets for independent use are available in the Visitor Centre, YSP Learning and The Weston. The YSP Learning building also features a Changing Places toilet which is accessible for wheelchair user and carer and accessed via a radar key. Please ask the team at the YSP Learning Cafe if you require access during your visit.
- Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the park including our indoor cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries. Please note that livestock do graze the fields of the Country Park and sections around the lake.
- Free admission tickets are available to Essential Companions, carers and MAX Card holders. Tickets can be purchased via our website or on arrival at YSP. We encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment, as we do sell out frequently.
