"Welcome to Blue Planet Aquarium. We're a marine and freshwater aquarium located by the Cheshire Oaks retail and leisure complex in Ellesmere Port. If you're new here, let us show you around… Our History At the time of opening 20 years ago, we were the largest aquarium in the country, and till this day, we remain the largest in North West England. Our Exhibits Nowadays, you can view Europe's largest collection of sharks through our captivating 71-metre underwater tunnel – you can even swim with them! That's right, we offer shark-dive experiences for swimmers of various levels and ages. (Find more information on our shark-dives here.)
